Rosa Maria Garza, 85, was born December 19, 1934 in Houston, Texas to Juan Dominguez and Dominga Espinoza Dominguez. Rosa was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 1, 2020 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and sister who enjoyed cooking, gardening, and serving in her parish, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She was predeceased in death by John Valencia Garza, the love of her life and husband of 53 years. She was also predeceased by her parents, her sister Carlotta DeAlejandro, sister Aurora Hernandez, sister Esperanza, and brother Jesus. She is survived by her sister Ruth Perez, brothers John Dominguez II and Ben Dominguez.  Rosa leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving children Anne Marie Garza and partner Chris Kohler, Angela Bolton and husband Steve, Aurora Garza and fiancé Bennie Contreras, Patrick Garza and wife Melissa, Adelina Cantu and husband Luis. Her grandchildren Dr. Matthew Marquez, Steven Eric Bolton (wife Daisy), Joshua DeLaGarza, Cody Garza, Kent Bolton, Luis Angel Cantu, Sean Springer, Casey Cantu, Isabella Garza, Aaron Cantu, Daniella Garza, and great-granddaughter, Analia Bolton will miss their granny dearly. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Becky Vela, Ashley Dennis, Jackie Pacheco, and the kind healthcare workers at the nursing home who selflessly cared for mom and dad in their time of need.

A celebration of life and reception will be hosted at a later date when restrictions on gatherings are lifted in Houston.
