Rose Ramos Martinez, 85, was born on April 23, 1931 in Dyer, Texas and was called to be with her Lord and Savior on September 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Celestino & Herlinda Ramos; her husband Elias C. Martinez, Sr.; her grandson, Gabriel Celestino Gomez; her sister, Beatrice Rodriguez; and her brother, Robert Ramos. She left behind to cherish her memories her son, Elias Martinez, Jr. & wife Jodi; her daughter, Melissa Martinez; her brother, Martin Ramos & wife Theresa; her grandchildren, Stephen Martinez and Joshua Martinez; her great grandson, Elias Ace Martinez; also many relatives and friends. Rose will be dearly missed by all those who love her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 3pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 1pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (238 N Commercial St., Goliad, TX 77963). Rite of Committal will follow in Rubio Cristo Rey Cemetery in Goliad, Texas.
