Ruben Gutierrez, 47, of Alvin, TX, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. He was born in Houston, TX on June 08, 1974, and was a resident of Alvin for 16 years. Ruben was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin, TX. He was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council and also a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kondo. Ruben had a passion for cooking and loved to volunteer his time at Church and Bingo. Ruben is preceded in death by  his father, Aurelio Gutierrez; his brother Jaime Gutierrez; his father in law Juan P. Garcia & mother in law Rosa Garcia. He is survived to cherish his memories, his loving wife of 23 years of marriage, Lucy Gutierrez; his daughters Kassandra Gutierrez and Jenessa Gutierrez; his son, Ruben Gutierrez, Jr.; his grandson Hudsyn Jefferson; his godsons Carlos Alberto Pecina and Nicolas Garcia. Ruben is also survived by his mother Petra Gutierrez and brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, sister in laws and bother in laws. He will be dearly missed by all those who he shared wonderful memories with him.
