On August 27, 2013 the gates of heaven opened and Sammy went to be with our Lord. Sammy was born in Houston Texas on February 10, 1984. Sammy is survived by his grandparents Carlos and Eva Fierro, mother Norma Sanchez, father Samuel Moreno, and grandfather Pilar Moreno. Brother Casey Moreno, sister and brother in law Stephanie and Neko Joseph. Girlfriend Karmelita Ramirez and children Jmarcus, Chester, Cedarian, Taribbean, and Omari. Sammy also had several uncles and aunts Danny, Gloria, Angie, Roy and Vira, Linda, Hector, Roland and Maria. He also leaves behind numerous cousins. Sammy will forever live in our hearts; he will be loved and greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 4-9pm at Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 6:00pm by Fr. Peter Masterbouno. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Philip of Jesus Catholic Church (9700 Villita St. Houston, Texas 77013) with Fr. Jesus Suarez officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
