Sandra Chavez

Sandra Chavez, age 48, was born on November 19, 1976, in Baytown, Texas, and entered eternal rest on November 23, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Sandra was a vibrant spirit who lit up every room she entered. Known for her outgoing personality, she loved dancing, singing, and celebrating life with music. Her generosity and willingness to help others were hallmarks of her kind and selfless nature. Sandra is preceded in death by her father-in-law, Antelmo Mar, and her son-in-law, Nicholas Andrew Solis. She leaves behind her loving husband of 31 years, Carlos Alberto Mar, and their cherished children: Dyanna Mar, Carlos Alberto Mar Jr., and Aaron Mar. Sandra’s legacy is also carried forward by her siblings: Guadalupe Beatriz Diaz and her husband Gilberto Jr., Norma Nelly Santos and her husband Omar, Alejandro Chavez and his wife Dorian, and Sonia Sanchez and her husband Manuel. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Nicholas Andrew Solis Jr. and Brooklynn Marie Rodriguez, as well as her beloved fur baby, Snowball. Sandra will also be deeply missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who adored her. Sandra’s memory will forever be honored and celebrated by all who knew her.
