Santos Vasquez Pinon, 75, was born on November 2, 1945 in Taylor, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2021 in Pearland, Texas. Santos Pinon dedicated her life’s work to caring for her family and friends. She was a dedicated wife, mother of two sons, one granddaughter, and two great granddaughters. Her love for family reached numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and anyone she called a friend. She retired from her career at the Texas Employment Commission at the age of 50 after 30 years of service. Santos went onto travel to all the places she had dreamed of, including Paris, London, the Caribbean, Spain, and China just to name a few. She loved life and her Lord. She had a life of servitude not only with her family & friends but also as a volunteer with the Altar Linens schedule at St. Luke’s. We will miss our beloved GiGi. She was preceded in death by her mother, Romana Vasquez; her husband, HIram A. Pinon; her brothers, George Montoya and Bobby Montoya; and her sisters, Micaela Peavler and Susie Escobedo. Santos leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sons, Xavier Hiram Pinon & wife Brenda and Jason Andre Pinon; her sisters, Rosalinda Montoya and Blanche Lucio; her grandchild, Hillary England & husband Michael; her great grandchildren, Gianella England and Kora England; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Santos will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with her.
