05/15/1937 - 11/04/2013       Socorro Vazquez Nevarez, 76, was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico & was called home to be with her "Lord & Savior" on the morning of November 4, 2013 while being surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by her Husband of 21 years, Salvador Nevarez Villarreal; Parents, Alberto Vazquez Marin & Maria Montserrat Buenrostro. Survivors include her Sons, Bernardo Guadalupe Nevarez & Jesus Nevarez; Daughters, Maria Del Carmen De Los Santos, Rosalinda Olvera & Maria Del Socorro Nevarez; Brothers, Jose Florencio Vazquez & Alberto Vazquez; Sisters, Eva Niño Vazquez, Juana Jaramillo & Isabel Martinez; 23 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren & 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Visitation will begin Thursday, November 7, 2013 from 4-9pm at Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00pm. Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 11:00 am at Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with Pastor Arturo & Maria Martinez presiding. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
