Sylvia Ann Betts Criswell

Sylvia Ann Betts Criswell, 71, passed away April 1, 2014. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Bill Criswell; sons, Walter Criswell and wife Sherry and Eddy Criswell and wife Carol; daughters, Mary Chapman and husband Mark and Suzanne Hunt; sister, Gloria Smith; 8 grandchildren, Jimmy, Brandon, Amber, Tiffany, Kayla, Hayden, Courtney and Mac along with 5 great-grandchildren, Mark Anthony, Stephanie, Sami, Choloe and Hunter.

Born on February 14, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio to Father, Harold Betts and mother, Eva Skunza. Sylvia proudly served in the United States Navy. She will forever be in our hearts.

A visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, April 6th, 2014 from 4pm-8pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm in the Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. A funeral mass will celebrated on Monday morning, April 7th, 2014 at St. Pius V Catholic Church (824 South Main St., Pasadena, Texas 77506) Rite of Committal will take place in Houston National Cemetery where Sylvia will be laid to rest with Navy Military Honors & the VFW District 4 team.
