Terry James Meza Jr., affectionately known as “Baby Terry” or “Big T,” was 34 years old. He was born on October 29, 1990, in Houston, Texas, and entered eternal rest on February 19, 2025, in his beloved hometown.
Terry was a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, and cousin, and his absence will be felt deeply by all who knew him. Beneath his tough exterior lay a man with big dreams and an unwavering determination to achieve them. Fearless in his pursuit of greatness, he took bold risks, hoping for equally grand rewards. His natural charm and radiant smile had the power to light up even the darkest room, and his heart was larger than life. Terry’s love for those closest to him was immeasurable, a love that spoke louder than words.
He became a brother to the brotherless, offering a sense of family to those who lacked it. His generosity was unmatched, treating others with first-class care and kindness. Though he was the younger sibling, Terry embraced the role of a big brother to many, inspiring and encouraging them with compassion and strength. This selfless character was shaped by his faith and the values instilled in him by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his Pastor grandparents.
Terry was known for his calm demeanor and measured words. He was determined and persistent, never accepting "no" for an answer when he set his mind to something. His resilience and strength earned him the admiration and respect of many. Above all, his world revolved around his son, King "Kingy" Meza—his pride, joy, and greatest treasure.
Terry is survived by his father, Terry James Meza Sr. and wife Mia; his mother, Angelica M. Diaz Jaime and husband Ben; his son, King James Meza; his brothers, Elijah James Meza and Israel James Meza; his sisters, Analicia Marie Meza and Ruth Victoria Meza; his nephews, Joseph, Andrew, and Riley; his niece, Isabel; his aunts, Araceli and Rosa and her husband Albert; his cousins, Jonah, Joshua, Julissa, Bianca, and Elizabeth; his best friends, Eddie, Nono, Dez, and Pancho; and a host of other cherished family members and dear friends.
Terry's memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were blessed to share in his life. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
