Thomas Zamora Munoz, Sr.

1940 - 2021

Tomas Z. Munoz, Sr., 81, was born on April 13, 1940 in Rockdale, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on June 3, 2021 in Houston, Texas.  Thomas was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  Thomas was a Crucita, the President of the Holy Name Society, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He worked for the Harris County Sheriff's Department and worked security for many years. Thomas was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel G. Munoz and Josefa Z. Munoz; his brothers, Manuel Z. Munoz, Jr. and Frank Z. Munoz; and his son, Thomas C. Munoz, Jr..  Thomas leaves behind to cherish his memories, his children, Mary Ann M. Leyva & husband Fabian, Elizabeth Munoz, Terry Munoz, and Abel Munoz Gonzalez; his siblings, Amador Z. Munoz, Gilbert Z. Munoz, Alma M. Gutierrez, Rosemary Munoz, Reynaldo Z. Munoz, and Robert Z. Munoz; his 7 grandchildren; his 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.  Thomas will be dearly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
