Winston Owen Lathrop, age 77, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 peacefully at his home by his wife of almost 50 years, Dieanne Lathrop.  Originally from Buffalo, Texas Winston has since been a resident of Houston, Texas for close to 60 years.  He proudly served as a member of the Texas National Guard for six years from 1964 to 1969.  Winston was also a member of Local 211 Pipefitters Union for more than 50 years.  He is survived by five children, Stephanie Bennett, Valerie Roberts, Michael Griffith, Charmaine Lathrop and Danille LaLonde; ten grandchildren, Nia Griffith, Scotty Bennett, Maggie Lathrop, Crystina Lathrop-Lewis, Alexis Lathrop-Burton, Bianca Lathrop, Sophia LaLonde, Samantha LaLonde, Katrina Roberts, and Kevin Roberts and six great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.
